Lazy Saturdays

I love Saturdays; especially the kind that you can spend doing close to nothing. Unfortunately, I can’t do that today. Here’s what’s on the agenda for me:

-) Watch ‘Rent’ and write my musical review for MUL2010.
-) Watch the Gators pummel Georgia’s ass at 3:30 (you better all watch that too!)
-) Read for PHI2630 and write my second term paper
-) Hit up Bank of America to take out some money
-) ABC run for more Vodka
-) CVS for some personal items
-) Study for Economics

Then tomorrow, I have to:

-) Work 8a-12p bistro
-) Go to the Music Library to get songs off of a reserved CD so I can make up a listening test
-) Work on what I didn’t finish Saturday
-) Laundry
-) Study for Economics
-) Work on my MUL2010 research paper

Yeah, so my weekend is already cut out for me!

Yesterday, Tom and I went and did prep at work for a little bit. Before we went, though, I stopped at Best Buy and bought Luz an English computer program. You should have seen the look on her face! It was priceless. I don’t think I’ve mentioned her on here before; she is a 29 year old native Columbian who is learning English. She is very good at it, but still has some problems. Anyway, she is just a really neat person and I really like her. We have become fast friends at work. She also has two kids who, although they haven’t met me, already like me (according to her), which I think is so sweet. Tom and I are going to go trick-or-treating with them on Tuesday and I’ll be sure to get some pictures! Luz’s son Andres is going to go as a geek, and her daughter Daniela is going as a witch. Luz said she’s going as a mom, haha. How original!

I was supposed to go and get coffee with my friend Mel last night, but I ditched out because I was studying. So, looks like we’re doing dinner sometime this upcoming week, and then again on Thursday night prior to Grey’s. BTW, Grey’s is at my apartment this week ladies who usually come!

I am sitting in the Geography lab right now while Tom scans stuff for a huge project that he has to do on his home town of Treasure Island. Seriously it’s very boring, but I decided to be nice and keep him company. I’m such a good girlfriend :-D

In fact, he just said, “Having fun?” sarcastically. He knows me too well, haha.

Ok, I’m gonna get going. According to Tom, we are drinking for the game and taking some awesome pictures, so I’ll have something to post! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

GO GATORS!
