Like I said last week, TGIF. Even though I only had a four day week of work and school, the week was a grueling one. LOL, the word grueling always reminds me of The Oregon Trail, when the it tells you the pace that you’re going with your family and animals. I loved that game!
My To Do List for this weekend is big, just like last week. What’s the difference? I’m actually accomplishing stuff! I was supposed to go out tonight and play a drinking game with a bunch of friends, but I have a horrible headache that has left he just wanting to relax and take it easy. Instead, I rested up, did some reading/typing up notes, cleaned the toilet (it was just bugging me too much), and am in the process of cleaning the coffee pot – another thing that was just bugging me too much not to do it.
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this, but in the last week I started to pick up the newspaper on the way to my earliest class. I carry it with me throughout the day, and if I don’t finish it, I save it for my reading time just prior to going to bed. Keeping abreast with the latest news has been really refreshing and I enjoy reading and sharing with people. I feel 10x smarter simply because I know what’s going on in the world around me. It helps me stay attentive in class too, because a lot of what we talk about revolves around current events.
Tom and I were supposed to sign a lease for a 2/2 this afternoon, but we have a conflict regarding our current lease so we weren’t able to. I think now we’re going to see if we can’t rent a house that has all the amenities/conveniences that we’re looking for. We’re still keeping this particular apartment complex in mind; just would rather sign a lease now and not have to worry about it.
My head is starting to pound (right behind my eyes, ugh), so I’m getting offline. Snuggling with my boys is the best remedy when I don’t feel well!

I always loved Oregon Trail, too!
I like to watch CNN every day when I get up. Nick hates it, but I love to be caught up on the news. *shrug*
Sorry to hear about your apartment woes. :( I hope you get it all cleared up soon! Good luck!
& Feel better!

I too loved the Oregon Trail game! How much fun was that? I would literally play that game for I will not say hours, but almost.

Gosh, I hope you feel better soon. I hate migraines. I get them on and off. I think it’s because of PCOS in my case. Hang in there!
And I KNOW! Doesn’t watching the news and reading the newspaper make you feel smarter? When I was on bedrest at the hospital (for a few months) I swear CNN news is all I watched! And when Hubby came to visit I’d be like, “So did you hear about… ” this and that. LOL! He’d be like, “No! How’d you hear about that.” LOL Watching the news! I knew what was going on everywhere… pretty funny. It also made me more sad though… cause they’re always reporting BAD NEWS. Crappy.
