I have successfully updated my WordPress! So far, everything is looking great, and I’m excited to use it. All of my plugins work except for BackUpWordPress; for now, though, I’m using a database backup plugin because I’m so paranoid about losing my posts.
I came directly home from class and got on the elliptical – it felt so good, even though it was only for 15 minutes. I’ve gotten some stuff on my “do to” list finished, and am taking a short break before I start dinner to write this. I’ve still got quite a bit to do tonight, but after getting on the elliptical I have a ton more energy; in fact, I might even get back later this evening! Crazy Bobbi, I tell ya!
I was supposed to go to the Springs this weekend, but there was miscommunication and I turned around when I couldn’t find anyone (there was no cell phone reception either). Pretty frustrating because I paid $12 to get into the park for the day, and bought a case of Corona to be nice. Oh yeah, and 30 miles worth of gas each way. I have yet to hear from my cousins (who I was supposed to meet up with). To be honest, I’m a little peeved about that, but I do understand that things happen.
Tom is finally on the mend from his deathly illness! Somehow, he managed to keep it to himself, too, and not pass it onto me. Thanks, baby! I have never heard someone cough so much in my life, and I really felt for him all week because it had to be painful for him to cough as much and as hard as he did.
Random tidbit – a stray cat just ran by with a dead squirrel in its mouth. I wish I hadn’t seen that… it makes my heart hurt! Poor squirrel. Such is the circle of life I guess…
