My grades for this semester are available for viewing online by 5pm. It’s usually a little after 5p, say around 7p, but still: tonight is the night. I am so excited and don’t want to wait until then to see how I did! I’m having a dilemma with a professor of mine via email because he won’t give me full credit for attendance despite the fact that I didn’t miss a single lab this semester. Luckily, I have a friend who also had 100% attendance and she can vouch for me because we sat together. It’s not like I’m trying to free load an extra point or two just because – my grade is literally the difference between an A and a B+ because of that last attendance grade. So I hope he gives in because I deserve credit for attendance when I was really and truly was there every. single. class this semester.
I’m heading into work for a few hours, doing lunch, and then the cooking for the party will commence. We’ve added guacamole to the list of things to make, and although I have a new recipe for guac that I would love to try, I’m going to stick to my old favorite: avocados, red onion, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and a pinch of paprika.
Tom’s gone until Wednesday and then we’re heading home for a long weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day and his sister’s birthday. Last night I asked him, “Do you ever wish time would just slow down a little?” Things are going by so quickly for me and I want my life to just take a chill pill. There are so many great things going on in my life that I’m so thankful for!

I get totally freaked out too when time goes by too fast.
