Ok, I am ready to move to Gainesville. Seminole is SO boring now! On days that I work, I sleep in late, and stay in my pajamas until about an hour before I have to be there. I play Sims all day and watch TBS starting with Dawson’s Creek. I guess it’s kind of good because Senior Year I don’t think I relaxed once; I kind of forgot what it felt like. And I kind of feel bad (lonely too) because I haven’t hung out with anyone from HS since graduation. At the same time though, none of them are my true friends, so it shouldn’t really matter.

I got my rooming information for UF along with my room mate’s information. I called her on Monday night and she was SO SWEET! We talked for an hour or so, and then again on Tuesday for about another hour. She is getting a guinea pig (already has it actually) named Spot for our room, and she wanted to run it by me before she actually went through with it. I am so excited to meet her - it’s such a relief that she is down to earth, sweet, and NOT a snob. We are going to get along wonderfully and learn a lot from each other. Like I told her, I just want to walk away with another friend, no drama :)

I decided to transfer to the Albertson’s in Gainesville until I can find a better job. I really truly do not want to work there anymore, but I felt like it was a better choice for me to have a definite job than to go there and try and find a job when the 5,000 other summer B people are trying to find one. We shall see, I’m going to keep an eye out! already told me to apply at Firehouse Subs (is that what it’s called?) so I’m definitely going to do that when I get up there.

Haha, and I were on the phone last night and we decided to have a party before classes start. It’s called BAMP - Bad Ass Mike’s Party, because we both want to try Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Ahh, I cannot WAIT. Whitney you are coming too, of course!!

It’s been raining her non-stop so I can’t go out to the beach, or wash my car, or do anything productive in the sun. I did go visit my dad in Inverness on Tuesday though, which was kind of neat. It’s nice that we are re-establishing our relationship, but it’s sad that it didn’t happen sooner than a few weeks before leaving for Gainesville.

Oh, and for the record, BOYFRIENDS ARE LOSERS.

    Good thing your new roommate is cool - that’s definitely a good thing =]. It’s been raining here too but mainly in the evening. I hate rain =[. Good lucky with finding a new job and with the move =]

    just curious…when exactly are you moving to Gainesville?? I know Lewis (swimfasterlewis) is moving here on Sat. and i’m having a get together at my apartment on Sat. night, so if you are up here then, you are more than welcome to come along with Lewis. :)
