Good afternoon, readers! Unfortunately, I gained 1 lb from last week. But, before that, I had lost 5. I think it is water weight and bloating that is causing my weight to be so high. I need to get back on track with drinking water! Did you see the article on Shrinking Jeans about how much water you’re supposed to drink per day? You should be drinking 40% of your current weight in ounces. That’s a lot of water, something I’ll definitely have to work toward.
On the Wedding Front, the reception site is booked for sure. We have signed the contract and are now waiting to hear back from my priest. Yay! Tom and I are working on invitations now. We have a general idea of what we want, but it’s difficult to find stationary with both of our colors. We’re going to keep looking though. Meanwhile, if you have any companies that you recommend for printing, please let me know!
Our engagement party (for our friends) is this Saturday. We’ve got a few friends staying with us which will make it so much fun! I’ve been running around like a mad woman today cleaning and preparing, since tomorrow I have class all day and one friend gets in tomorrow night. I know no one will really care if our apartment is absolutely spotless or not, but I’m OCD like that. And, I just hate having guests when the apartment is not immaculate!
Speaking of cleanliness … yesterday, Tom came home during lunch (like he normally does) to check on the dogs. They had torn the foam cushion out of the chair we have (that matches the couch). There was foam EVERYWHERE. I came home right behind him and my jaw dropped to the floor. What a site our living room was, seriously! We got a few pictures that I’ll have to share when I unload the camera. Needless to say, we are now running a doggy boot camp with Hunter and Remy. I think they’ve figured it out, too, that they did something REALLY bad.
I always hate ending a post. I never know what to say!

I am the same way when it comes to people coming or staying in our house. I HAVE to have it spotless or well, nothing. I will stay up ALL night long cleaning if I have to.
Those BAD dogs!!! Ben is the same way- ridiculously and dangerously destructive when he’s left alone. That’s why when we’re gone he stays in the kennel (cage).

Don’t sweat the gain. It’ll come off next week. You can do it!

Congrats on the weight loss as well as the wedding stuff. What are your colors?

Sounds like bloating to me… water or lack of sure does effect our weigh ins.
Congrats on booking your reception site. That’s one big thing down!
Ok so it’s not funny but I had to laugh about your doggy foam story. My dog pulled the stuffing out of couch when he was much younger – what can you do! They are still your kids even when they are in the doggy house LOL. How in the heck do you replace a couch just like that… Thank goodness covers were invented.

Gaining a pound isn’t that big of a deal- maybe it’s fat turned to muscle? Or maybe it is just bloating.
And how exciting for having the reception hall booked. I sent you a reply on twitter with our reception company, but there are so many of them out there that you are bound to find something that works.
Have a fabulous time with your house guests and enjoy your engagement party. :)

No worries about that one pound. Keep up that water and it will come off! Not to mention your skin will look great with all the water too!
